Conclusion
Over 500 runners survived hot and humid weather to compete in 12 categories at our Annual Chase 2007 on 22 April. Philippe Cosentino won the Men's Open 10km race with a time of 38 minutes and two seconds. The 10km race, started and finished in our Marina breakwater, up to the Golf Clubhouse, and out to the Clearwater Bay Road, is well known among local runners as one of the toughest and hardest course, Charlotte Cutler, the Ladies' Open winner with a time of 41.09 minutes, declared she would not return to defend the title next year due to the toughness of the route.
In celebration of the Club's 25th Anniversary, a lucky draw has been added for excitement. Inflatale games have also been set up for family fun. We could see smiling faces on all runners as they also ran for a good cause. All entry fees and charity product sales on the day will go towards WWF Hong Kong for the protection and preservation of our environment.
